The Zoomettes is a DEEP virtual group which grew out of a seed of an idea three years ago. The aim of our group originally was to bring women together who did not have a local group to attend. We are now a group committed to sharing how we connect and why.

Our resources were created, long before COVID, about how to use Zoom. Many people have used the film featuring Frances Isaacs and Aimee Day to find their way round the Zoom in the early days of lockdown virtual meetings. We are still a small group of women, and until a sunny weekend in April some of us had never met in person. As part of the DEEP celebrations, we travelled far and wide to come together in friendship at Woodbrooke. We have created a resource ‘The story of a virtual group’ to share our experiences of the last three years and a film capturing our weekend. Film and resource will be posted shortly.
We talked, hugged, laughed, cried, painted and we shared. Watch Zoomettes the movie above.
